I have a new ship.

It's AU.

Ladies and gents, the somewhat be-clawed figure in this picture is none other than Jonathan Crane. However, this is an AU set within the universe of the X-Men, where Crane is a latent mutant, his abilities for psychically sensing, creating, and even drawing fear out of others getting triggered while he works at the university, and his panic reaction at the time resulting in a very high death toll as he created such an incredible burst of fear that all who got caught in it suffered massive heart failure. Professor Xavier took him in, and has since been training him to protect both others, and Crane himself.

Aristel has come to the institute for her own reasons, staying for now as a temporary resident. She and Crane have so far enjoyed an intensely building friendship that is looking very much like it's heading for something romantic. However, neither of them seem to realize this just yet. XD 

I had a lot of fun doing this. Color is fun and all, but nothing really beats a good ol' study in black and white.
